Generally, we do not charge for cancellations because we know that life happens. But if it gets to be excessive, there are multiple late cancellations, or many scheduling changes, we may enact our policy. We will let you know if we are enacting the policy with you.
It is as follows:
At our discretion, we may enact our Late Cancellation / Excessive Schedule Changes Policy. This policy states that after three (3) late cancellations / scheduling changes you will start to be charged for the visits that you schedule, regardless if you cancel or not. After five (5) late cancellations, we can no longer support you as a client. This is because we block out our time for you specifically and decline other pet requests during that time. We enjoy dedicating our time to support you and your pet and expect to be treated fairly and respectfully.
We may charge for a situation where we have to spend more time at your house than was initially agreed upon. We will only do this if it is completely necessary, for example, if a dog has diarrhea in their kennel and we have to put him back in the kennel before we leave. We will attempt to contact you, at the time, if something like this happens to see what you would like us to do. Otherwise, we will clean up the mess and may charge a fee (dog walking prices) based on our time spent until the situation is handled. Please keep in mind that we may have other pet services scheduled after yours and this is a tough situation for everyone involved. We will do our best to be fair and support all the people and pets that we serve.
